| "Precision Tactical" now "Bastards." |
|
That's right, "Precision Tactical" is indeed now titled "Bastards." Officially. Yes, the album's name is a curse word. A plural one at that. And it describes us perfectly, for we are bastards.
Directly condradicting that statement is the fact that we're going to release the new album for free as a 192kbps MP3 package upon completion. Partly because it's taking so long, partly because we're impatient when we complete something, and partly because we're too lazy to create packaging.
Seriously though, it's because the whole saying about a "free lunch" never happening is bullshit.

We get a lot of questions asked to us - how we record, if we're signed, etc. So I figured I'd take a bit of time while the test mix of The Devil Within is mixing down to answer some.
By the way, there's extended text here, so do click "read more" to read the whole thing.

| "Saigon" music video, plus Precision Tactical updates |
|
We've completed a music video for "Saigon," and although the sound will change slightly as we approach completion of "Precision Tactical," it's still pretty killer. Check it out.
Also, "Precision Tactical" updates:
One as-yet unnamed track, completely new
Guitar tones as heard before are being updated - this unfortunately means re-recording all guitar tracks, but the end product will be much clearer so you can hear the metal goodness
The rest of the tracks, not in order:
New/previously unreleased songs:
A Better Tomorrow (inst.) Deus Ex Machina (Twelve-Gauge Savior) Hurt Me Plenty Saigon Unite (inst.) Rise and Fall (inst.) For Defense The Job What the Fuck? Untitled new track
Remakes from Ruins:
Sick of It All The Devil Within Broken Down
The remakes are sounding killer so far, and though we've taken a bit of flak for re-doing our old stuff, we did re-do three songs from "Ruins" for "Die Trying," we're simply keeping with our trend and finishing it up. On "Ruins" they weren't as heavy or atmospheric as they deserved to be, partly due to my inexperience behind the board as far as recording goes. Simply put, if you don't like it, fuck off - it's not your album, and you'll always have the originals. It sounds harsh, sure, but that's the way things things go.
If anyone has any reasonable suggestions on how to change them up, aside from "re-write it," feel free to contact us on our forums. Just look to the left of the screen, hit "register" or "log in" and rock it out. We're always up for feedback from the people who keep us going.

L.I.E. has begun work on a new album, entitled "Precision Tactical" -
it will feature re-hashes of the other three Ruins tracks not already
re-done, plus 11 new tracks. It will be our most varied, most
heavy, most melodic, and best produced effort to date. I know
that's sort of asking it to live up to a lot, but damn...
For a taste, listen to "Saigon,"
one of the new tracks. Some of the others are "Deus Ex Machina,"
"A Better Tomorrow," "...For Defense," and "What the Fuck?"
Look for it at various online retailers soon.

| New song up on MySpace, and another goodie. |
|
Another new track, "Leech," has made its way to our MySpace page. Let us know what you think either on there or via our fancy little "feedback form" on here.
Also, we have received word that a lot of wild rumors have been going around regarding the band and its members. To address these, please click HERE (refresh for a new fact each time). This should address any issues you or anyone you know may have with the band.
Thank you, that is all.
